Nan is a native of Kentucky, and truly has a love for painting and has won numerous awards. She says "painting is an education in itself in that the more you paint the more you discover about painting and the beauty of things around us."
Her work is created in her own studio in the lush green hills of Kentucky, where she lives with her husband and two children. She also teaches painting there.
Nan strives for a soft, warm, dreamy feeling in her work, which is symbolized by a heart shape hidden in each painting. Nan wants to project a warmth to you by "painting from her heart to touch your heart."
